Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a great bath but lacked storage space in the rooms. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. The location just off the motorway was convenient for a stop en route to Cornwall, providing a welcome break on the journey. The dining experience was good with freshly cooked dishes, though breakfast timing was a concern. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very clean and modern, but a bit cramped with bunk beds and the heat was uncomfortable. On the bright side, the service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient for travelers passing through but felt a bit like a motel with commercial vehicles nearby. The dining experience was enjoyable, although the wait was long. Overall, a decent option but with some room for improvement.
The hotel is conveniently located for traveling on the main road, making it a great base to sleep while exploring the area. The rooms, although a bit small and dusty in places, offer good value for money. The service is commendable, especially at the restaurant and reception. The dining experience, while not spectacular, provides a choice of meals. The location is excellent for reaching various destinations in Devon, but may not be ideal for visiting Exeter directly. The facilities are adequate for a comfortable stay.
The hotel room was exquisitely decorated to mark the occasion, very spacious with a huge shower cubicle and a great power-shower. The breakfast was lovely, modern, and at a very good price. The service was caring and excellent, although this time it was unhelpful with no welcome or smiles. The location was perfect for us, staying in the Woodbury Suite for a long journey break, just off A30, adjacent to picturesque villages. The dining experience was disorganized, but food quality was good. The facilities need improvements.
I found the hotel to be a nice place to stay, with comfortable and clean rooms, although they were a bit small. The service was excellent, especially after a long day of traveling, and the staff were very accommodating. The location was convenient for my needs, being close to the M5, but a bit out of the way for exploring Exeter. Dining options were good, although staff awareness could be improved.
The hotel served its purpose for the 2 days, offering clean rooms that were a bit small. The location was convenient for a journey from the Midlands to Exeter, close to amenities. The dining experience was average, with limited breakfast choices.
